Slimy Filter

well today when i looked inside of my filter i noticed there is this snot looking white stuff inside...i do not know what this is and or if this could hurt the fish...
Any help would be great

Post some pics....when was the last time you cleaned it? Don't go cleaning it yet, let us help you determine what it is first.

Did you recently add any real wood to the tank? If so, do you see this on the wood also?

i already cleaned it and i came to find out that its cucumber

lol, always clean up vegetables after a day max!
maybe the cucumber polluted your tank too much...but that doesnt sound right.

i hope you never clean your tank equipment with tap water....

i didnt clean my tank equipment in tap i cleaned it in tank water and the only thing i rinsed in tap water was the cucumber

nothing that goes into your tank should be cleaned with tap water..
