Small Heater and Filter Options

I have a 1.5 G tank that I want to put a betta in. For mini heaters I am looking at either the Hydor mini heater or the Marineland 10 watt heater.

For filters there are two--the Penn Plax Small World Filter, and the Red Sea Deco Art Nano Filter.

Has anyone had any experience with these filters or heaters before? Did they work well, or not so well? Any other suggestions? Thanks for all advice!

If your tank will accomodate it, I would go with the Red Sea filter. I had the Penn Plax filter in one of my tanks and wasn't impressed with it at all.

As far as the heater goes, I'd go with the Hydor. I have it in my son's 1.5gal Tetra tank (the kit they sell at Walmart) and I like that it is flat, so it doesn't take up any room in an already cramped tank.

I ended up getting the Hydor heater, and a Tom Mini Internal Filter. Does anyone know how this filter performs? It looks pretty good to me.
