I'm interested in setting up a 55gal. reef tank. I was thinking mostly of live sand, some coral, SMALL fish and inverts. Can anyone recommend some corals fish and inverts. that will remain small and not outgrow my tank? thank you for your input.
You can use damsels and clowns. Use more peaceful damsels such as green chromis. You would have to get the tank up with rock and sand and cycle it first before placing in any corals. Pick out some of easier to keep corals from LFS, such as mushrooms or polyps. Neon goby and a dwarf pygmy angel. Make sure its a pygmy and not a juvenile. You'll be for a big surprise when angels get bigger! Firefish would work go also.
