Small red worms from fishes anus

i have recently had my two fish (angel and ram) infected with a wierd disease.

small thin red worms hanging from the fishes anus, some with tiny white ends.

not really sure what they are or how to cure them ...

the only thing i had changed was added plants into my tank, could this have introduced them????

the fish are still eating and swimming ok.....

right finally got a solution to this, the fish started to look a bit funny so i got a solution if anyone needs it.

i found a website that i could order a tablet which is a pestiside which kills these worm things, the drug is called: levimisole

i have about 50 tabs you only need to use 2-5 tabs for a tank of average size eg 30-60 gallons

crush up the tabs, dissolve in warm not boiling water add to the tank and wait.... a few days later all is better again, if anyone needs this i have a complete instructions and like i said the tabs left over.

Yes they are internal parasites ... so if the med is for internal parasites it will work.
