Snail Transport

Tommorow when I leave I will be taking several (probably 5 or 6) small pond snails home with me to stick in my moms fish pond...i read a previous post about rapping them in paper towels and i will do that, but do you think they would be ok in a jar of water overnight tonight? the little buggers are always harder to find in the daytime

Ide say there fine, im by no means an expert on snails, but im pretty sure they would be good to go. HTH

It should be fine, snails are tough little things, they just need to be kept moist. The jar overnight would probably be fine, just don't fill it all the way to the top. Whenever I've moved snails in jars, they seem to group near the surface of the water.
