Okay you guys the only tank I have live plants in is my 29 gallon and I don't have any snails in there. The only other tank I have is my ten gallon and at first I had some plants in ther but I moved them in about a week to my 29 so I don't think they came from there. Then I got new gravel and put it all in my 10 and removed the old. This is when I started to see these tiny snail shells. I just started removing them because they had no snails in the shells but the other day one was clinging to the side and it had the snail in it. This is the only one I know of at the moment. I don't really mind him either I am just curious from where he came? Is it the gravel? Because that's the only thing that's in this tank that's not in the 29 gallon. Also I put some plastic plants in there that have been in my closet for almost 5 months now. And then where in my 29 gallon too so I don't think that's where they came from. Thank in advance. ;D

They only possible thing I can think of is that you didn't clean the 10 gallon aquarium thoroughly because snail eggs are easy to transport and sometimes cling to the gravel or even to the plants.  And they can lay hundreds.  You probably saw small shells because those little dudes are kinda tiny right now and those small shells make nice homes. ;D

Well I don't know I had the 10 set up for a couple of months then took it down and I gave all the contents to my grandma, except for the fish and some plastic plants, and she hasn't had any either. And the gravel is new so it shouldn't have come from there. Or can it? Can snails eggs be transported through gravel in a bad like that? I just want to know where he came from. I guess I could just ask him. ;D j/k
