snails babys

OK i have two mystery snails that i got from a petsmart and well it seems they have started breeding. i found egg things on the rim of my tank and in the lid of my filter on my twenty gallon tank. I just got a brand new 55 gallon tank and i am thinking about leaving the snails and eggs in they twenty gallon but i want to put the snails in the 55. But i dont want baby snails in the 55. What do i do. Because i know they will just breed in my 55.

if you don't want snail babies in the 55g, don't add snails. there is really no other way. snails are like rabbits, only they're asexual, so it's 50x worse.

exactly, since you got apple snail (sorta) they have to lay their eggs out of the water, MUCH easier to find and eliminate. just dont get ramshorn if you dont want breeding. they lay eggs everywhere under the water.
