Hey, my stepfather-in-law (yeah, whatever) has an african cichlid tank, and the other day he asked us what kind of snails you can put in it, he thinks it'd be cool to have a big one like an apple snail.. any thoughts? is there some kind that can withstand the high pH and hardness?
Some of the Malayan livebearing tunneling snails are the only ones I've ever seen in African Cichlid tanks. Apple snails I don't think are appropriate, they'll just get eaten.
