So I bought two snails to control some algae growth in a 5 gallon tank.
And apperntally they are very happy there.
They laied one batch of eggs, and I was happy. Okay, a few hundred baby snails, cleaning me out of algae wafers, I can deal with that.
But now I have three more egg cases to deal with, and one is due to hatch any day now. I had to wait for several weeks to clean the tank after the first batch hatched, because I didn't want to suck up any babies. I got it all clean and pretty, and now I have more babies to deal with. -_-
I think that I need to nuter my boy, he is a little too happy with his new girlfriend.
If anyone wants say, 50 snails, hook me up.
I just wanted to rant a little about my babies.
Also, My baby bettas are doing fine now. I lost around seven the other day when I cleaned out the tank I think that the water may have been too warm when I put it back in.
But they are swimming pretty good now! (The few that are alive.) YEAH!
