well the Potassium Permanganate Dip that i did didnt get rid of snails. ( maybe snail eggs but i dont know )
i picked a few out and thought i had them.
but noticed at least one other.
curious about advantages or disadvantages to having snails in your tank.
it was pretty cool watching him, and the kids love it. lol
so any input would be appreciated. its been a week since i added my plants and my tank isnt dead so im assuming i didnt put any disease in it.

actually ive never had a real snail problem. i agree with the kids, i think they're the coolest **** to watch. I suggest this to everyone that starts getting snails...keep them, specially if you know any1 with oscars, other cichlids or pufferfish. You can just keep the sanil population in check by givin the grown snails to them. Ive been tryin to get snails to breed for a while and i sometimes get lucky but the snails never survive. Plus snails diets are real simple----to keep them away from your plants if you wanna keep them.

They love cucumbers, carrots and a few other greens and veggies but those are the favorites.....chances are they will go for this rather than your plants
