He was old plus I think he got some sort of fungus. I'm planning on turning his tank (2.5g Hex) into a pico reef. My question is if I wanted to transfer the small java fern from his tank to my 40g at home, how do I make sure I don't transfer the fungus (if there even was/is one) to that tank?
