solitary fish

i have a 55 gallon communitry tank with mostly schooling fishes except for my red-tailed black shark. i'm looking for another solitary fish that would go good in this tank. any ideas?

Dwarf Gourmis, rainbow shark, loaches, plecos...those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Have you ever had a Dojo loach.  When I had a community tank that was my favorite fish.

Dojo loaches are cool, but they also need a nice fine bottom substrate because they like to dig under it. But as far as hoover services of food, nothing beats a cool dojo snaking around the tank.
