some help

ok one of my fish, when it eats it's flake food small pieces come out it's gills. Anyone have an idea what wrong or if this is normall?

What kind of fish, and what kind of food?

Mine do that all the time, and their really doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them. My angelfish sometimes does this and he is 5 yrs old.

Dont know begins with an X cant remeber full name it's about an inch inch and a half and it's silver with sorta black/brown stripes and I feed it flake food.

Yes I think it is normal also because I have a Jack Dempsy and when I feed him cichlid pellets he has lots coming out of his gills it's like he is chewing it up and spitting out the parts that don't taste that good or he is just plain a messy fish. Well that is just my opinion.
