Can't wait to see the pics, C-Man.

This is totally off topic, but I recently purchased Disney's "Song of the South" on DVD. It's been banned here in the states for at least twenty years, probably more. It's funny watching the ghetto grainy tape look on a dvd, but all in all, a cool purchase.

lordroad- I had never heard that it was banned before. I checked around on a couple of sites, and they said that the ban was a myth. I dont know, it is a website so who knows. But I didn't even know about why that movie was never heard from again.

lol, gezz I am getting old. I remember going to see that in theaters....

sorry to hijack your thread c-man... lol

Checked out songofthesouth.net. intersting, looks like i was duped partly... i believe the "ban" was like george lucas totally destroying all records of the "star wars christmas special"... disney just refused to sell the film due to it being "politically incorrect."

Funny how urband legends spread so easily.

Given disney's track record of suing anyone who as much casts a shadow of mickey mouse, i'd be real cautious if i were one of these distributors. but the floodgates have opened, thanks to the internet. now it's out, it's out, and disney can't do nuthin about it :)

Yeah, zippade do dah, and brear rabbit and the briar patch... a lot of the cartoon images of that story come from that movie... i believe it was one of the first if not the first movie to mix animation and live action actors... more than a couple decades before roger rabbit.

anyway, matt, those are some awesome cichlids. your shots in the lounge of the flowers look great too. you must have a bad*ss camera, huh? great zoom and amazing clear focus.
