Hey Guys,

5 fish have died. I think it could be ich!!

Randomly my cremcycle molly was dead on the ground. Next 1 male sword tail started rotting away. The sword part of his tail was gone and it started turning yellow. He died. Next a random healthy fancy guppy was found dead. After that my red wag was swimming with his mouth wide open, and laid down sideways and died. Then this morning I found a female swordtail with the same rotting tail that is turning yellow. It was found dead this morning. I had 4 frogs I now only can find 2. I started everyone on an antibacterial food to get rid of internal and external parasites. I also loaded the tank with Rid-Ich. I have tested ammonia, PH, nitrates, everything is right. I have noticed little white spots on random fish which sounds like ich. Any idea on what I should do next? I have also added aquarium salt...The temperature is at 78-79 degress F.

whoa there, slow down..dosing your tank with so many different things is not the answer...Since you have already put in doses of rid-ich you need to follow the directions on the bottle to the letter. If that doesnt work then after you have gone thru following ALL the directions for rid-ich I would do a huge water change, (did you take your carbon out or not?) When using meds you should remove the carbon because it will filter it out...if you did remove carbon then put it back in after you do a water change, slowly up the temp in the tank to 86 and use 1 tbs of salt per 5 gallons of water...if I remember right it takes about 10 days for the cycle of ich to die off...here is a link you might want to read and save for future use...

The tail rotting doesn't sound like ich. I'm thinking some sort of bacterial infection. The little white spots may be ich, but they usually don't prove to be so quickly fatal.
As for treatment, not so sure, maybe others can help.
