I recently added a foxface to my tank along with a bicolor blenny. One of the two has been nipping and eating the polyps off my monti. digitata.......and my alveopora is not extending it's polyps and I believe it is being nipped at also......Not sure who the culprit is....has anyone ever experienced this behaviour with either of these two fish????

I have had a bicolor blenny and never knew it to nip corals (nor have I heard that they do); rabbitfish, on the other hand, I have no experience with but know from reading/talking to others they will nip at coral. I would bet on the foxface.

The blenny is constantly sitting amongst the branches of the digi.....I haven't actually seen him nipping....he does a flyby bite and run when he does eat the algae on the back wall.....the foxface I have seen amongst the corals but I haven't actually seen him nipping anything.......though he always seems hungry and attacks the nori like crazy when I put it in the tank.....
