Somewhat different diseases...same med...

As mentioned in a previous post, I have an angelfish with an eye fungus...I also have a guppy with tail-rot...Is it ok to put them both in the Hospital tank at the same time, even tho they have different fungi infections, but both of them call for the same med treatment?

(and no the angelfish won't kill the guppy, he's not big enough and was raised with guppies, so he leaves them alone...for now at least)

I'd think it would be ok...although you know that putting them together means that both of them might contract the other's fungus. It makes sense to treat them together with the same meds though...I would probably do it.

that's what I thought too, froggy. They've been together for about 4 days now (ya, i know...do first..ask later hehe) I've been doing water changes every other day, hoping that that will keep the chance of disease crossing to a minimum.
