Hello all,

apologies for not being on Mft for a a month or two, been extremely busy recently!

Happy new year to you all! :)

anyway heres the update, i recently purchased a male and female pair of swordtails for my 31g, and they are beauties!
Heres the even more exiting news, last night i watched the male for a good 20 minutes or so and was amazed to see him mating with one of my original female platies! so could this be the start of my fisrt hybrid swordtail/platy fry?;) i hope so!

the male swordtail has continued to mate with that one orange female platy so im hoping *fingers crossed* that all will go to plan and they will produce some beautiful hybrids!

No worries. I sometimes struggle to remember simple words, like "door" or "bike"....then remember big words for no apparent reason. If "variatus" was what you were stuggling to remember you're probably a step ahead of me on the forgetfulness scale.
