sparkling gourami tankmate?

I have 1 sparkler in a 5gal. I've thought of some possible companions; a group of pygmy coriesor small tetras (leaning tord green fire tetras). Maybe I should just get some more Sparkling Gouramis (if I can find them). Breeding them would be cool! (they don't have a long lifespan as I understand)

What would you suggest?

I would not stock much else in a 5.. maybe another sparkling gourami and an oto or two would work fine

Yeah, I think I'll see what I can do about getting another 1 or 2 of these little beauties. It seems they are rarely kept (& stocked at lfs) and it's a shame IMO.

I just bought one for one of my 5gals. They really are cute and pretty little buggers.
