i noticed today that in my nano tank there was what looked kinda like spider webs all over one of my rocks.... does any one know what this is? and how do i get rid of them??
i think i know what you are talking about. i have some of that on my LR as well...I'm not sure whether it is alive or what it is but it has been there for months and months without incident...ill try to get a pic to verify
its like something between a spider web and a string of cotton its weird they all of a sudden show up today after i did a water change...maybe i stirred somthing up
Yes, and they're putting out feeder 'things' as a feeding response to the floating material. Rather than a bacterial film I think these are feeder tentacles from small worms and bivalves. Need to check.
