My male platy recently got a split tail last night after i did a 60% water change/gravel cleaning, i had to take him,1 guppy and my betta out at that time because they kept getting in the way,i was stupid enough to put them all together in a very large container*instant hate between my platy and betta when i first had them together* i thought they were both over their crankyness between each other,but as soon as i did my W/C and slowly acumilated them back into their tank,i noticed a split on his tail i'm thinking my betta took a bite at him and i noticed one of my betta's fins are torn as well.Their seems to be a little dot of fin on my platy's tail the guppy that was in with them is perfectly fine not a single scratch *that i can see* on her.my question is will my platy and betta be ok without meds for their tail/fin problem?
This is the first time since i had first added them both in the tank that their has been agression between them again.
