Sponge filter

I was wondering if people use/like their sponge filters. Is a bio wheel better?

man i love sponge filters.especialy the ac series of power filters.regular air driven sponges are great too.one day some one will come out with a sponge filter that you can use with a bio wheel now that would be truly awesome

I use sponges on fry and breeders. I love em too!

i use 2 sponge filters of which i prefer the external over the internal but they are both great filters for bacteria and so easy to keep clean!

I don't know if you would call this a true sponge filter but i have a small sponge ove the intake of my aquaclear power filter.

sponge filters are great. i have one with two canisters.

I love my sponger filter. Fish cant get sucked into it theyre great. I just rinse out the sponges everyonce in a while but not fully as youl take away some of the bacteria.
