Spray bar & TBarbs

I changed the single outlet on my 17g to a spraybar so it runs dia across the tank the pressure doesnt seem high but I moved it above the water line is this a good thing to do........? & one more Q how do you tell the difference between the M & F Tiger Barb I've got 4 in my 28g tank But I think there all Males??

Males usually are a lot more colorful and have more red on their nose and fins. Females will be more plump and rounder.

I don't know anything about that spray bar thing.

I don't think the spray bar move you did is an issue. I mean the whole purpose is to agitate the water and get it moving right? Unless you have fish that prefer still water I don't think it matters much where you put it.
