I'm going to be 3 weeks into my cycle on tuesday, and it's still taking forver to process the 5 ppm of ammonia, It drops but it never really drops to zero, stays at 1. I've done one water change to try and stop the stall but i'm starting to get frustrated, i know i need to be patient but is it wrong to me to be expected results by now!

My pH is 7.6
Ammonia: 1 ppm
Nitire: .50 ppm

Yes, bump the ammonia back up. Nitrites will usually stay high for a while, then drop over the course of a day or two, down to zero. The ammonia usually follows with a drop to zero. It sounds like you don't have too far to go :) Keep up the good work.
