star fish!

ok guys!-
i was staring at my tank for hours like i usually do everyday-lol
and i noticed sumthing moving on my rocks--dude!--its a tiny star fish -its missing two of its legs but they look as if they are growing back--the star fish is the size of my pinky finger nail and its yellow/tan color--what do u guys think? should i be worried --what if its a bad star fish and eat coral in time?

Thick legs or thin. I wouldn't worry too much. Most things that are going to eat corals arrive on corals

shouldn't be a problem most likely...probably just a little brittle star...there is a small 6 legged starfish which will attack certain corals but it has a bulkier look to it more like a chocolate star without the bumps. got a picture?

I have one like that came off my live rock. missing a leg and another one is regrowing, bulky legs like a choc chip and unlike a brittle star.

well mine too---it looks like a star fish--its so small --the leggs are thick!

it looks like a regular star fish ---tan color--sumwhat like a chocolate chip but tan/yellowish color but tiny!

its so small and it disappear amonst my rocks--hopefully next time i see it i will take a pic---a matter a fact i have to take a pic of my whole tank--i jus dont kno how to post it when take the pic

yeah, i got it withh one piece of lr that my big snail was also on and i got another when i went to te store. I also have 5-10 baby white brittle starfish, although im doubting they will survive.

you would be surprised on how tough the brittle stars are--btw, those brittlestars are most likely already fully grown
in my tank, I started with 2-3 mini brittles and now I have at least 10 or so

It doesn't sound like a brittle, but i wouldn't worry
