ok so i got the tank going i got 7 small africans in it and was wondering if i could put in a gsp and a figure 8 puffer with them or would they need brackish

Probably would not be a good idea. I have no idea on what type of water puffers need, or food they eat. But the african activity and aggression would probably not be the best with puffers.

yeah thats what i was thinking just wasnt sure i think i will just go africans maybe a columbnian shark and a lobster

well columbian sharks are brackish, so that's not going to work long term, and that's looking over the aggression of the cichlids.

What size tank and what species of cichlids?

a crayfish isint going to work either because when they shed or moult they are very weak and can die easily, and with the agression of cichlids its very likely to die.
