stocking a large tank

So far I have the following:-

6 cardinals
11 male guppy
8 female guppy
15 molly (unsure of sex)
1 large pleco
1 large shark
6 male platy

what else is suitable in the tank that wont bite the tails of my guppy?

You don't say what you consider a,"large tank" or what kind of pleco or shark, but I would think the shark would already be a hazard to you guppies tails and the mollies probably eat all the fry.

you m:f guppy ratio is way off. You want at least 3-5 females per male t prvent undue stres. Same for all live-bearers. And you shark wll quickly make a snake of all the smaller fish.

As was asked earlier, what do you consider a "large" tank. By comon consumer standards, a "large" tank is anything bigger then a 10g. I would say anything 55g or larger would be considered "large". Anything 29g-55g I would say is med. 10-20g is small, and anything smaller then that I would consider a micro tank. Some chime in if I'm off on my sizing.

All the fish you litsed are great for their own reasons, just not sure I would mix thm. Try AqAdvisor.com ... put in your tank specs & fish info and itwill tell you general stocking suggestions for what you have.
