Strange Fish?

I have been sitting here for the last 2 hours watching two of my electric blue cichlids do the "mating dance". I have seen this pair do it many times but there are never ANY eggs...whats up with that? Could I possibly have a sterile female? Anyone ever hear of this or see this before?

My yellow labs do that all the time they have only successfully spawned once. But the catfish stomach is kind of large so maybe hes been eating the eggs. Do you have any scavengers that would eat the eggs?
