I don't know what happened, but I'm pretty sure that every single cardinal I bought from the lfs died. I was STUPID and put them straight in to the big tank, when I noticed two were acting funny, I moved them to the QT, but left the other 3. Well, my own fault, I noticed that they hadn't been coming out to eat, but I thought they were just still nervous and hiding.
I did a water change yesterday and rearranged the plants and lo and behold I find 2 dead fish. Only they've been dead for a while and are like...jelly. Yuck. Yuck. And I think there's still 1 missing, but I couldn't find it. Yuck.
So I got new cardinals, NOT from the lfs, and they went STRAIGHT to the QT. Although they already look much healthier than those other cardinals ever did.
