stupid cichlid aggression...

so i was able to get a pair of red peacocks at my work...same size as my tang./vic/malawi/ mixed tank...and as soon as i threw em in there...they were already gettingr oughed up!!! arrrg! i saved the female and the male is...missing...like gone, no where!! wtf? this sux

If you don't want aggression don't keep fish with a rep for aggression. This is all par for the course with aggressive cichlids

Don't blame the fish. They are just doing what they do.

You may have to remove most of the decor to find the male. If he was getting beat on pretty good then it's a good chance that it has went into hidding.
