Stupid Question.

Alright......

I just got 2 new cichlids, and I thought I wrote down their full names...

This is what I've got... African Solocof...(and that's where the paper got wet, and my handwriting smeared...)

They're blue...with dark stripes.

They're probably something simple....but I am having an issue figuring them out.

Any help?

Yeah....i figured that out...about twenty minutes after I posted.

Pseudtotropheus socolofi - ?

they are fairly blue with darker stripes running along the dorsal fin.


if they are blue fish with vertical blue stripes, i would suspect metriaclima/maylandia lombardoi (kenyi)

Now I am worried. I had a VERY long chat with the fish guy before I chose my fish out, and told him I specifically wanted Lake Malawi fish.

If this one isn't...I'm gonna be ripped.

I've done a little digging around....and, I believe that they were mislabled.....

I now am led to think that the 2 blue guys are Psuedotropheus zebra's...OR Placidochromis electra's

I'll try to get a better picture of one of them...maybe someone more knowledgable can help me identify them.
