ok another project for my new tank. im going to make a 30 gallon sump for my new tank. for the protein skimmer, does it have to be a good enough size for the actual tank or for the sump. say its a 30 gallon sump and a 100 gallon tank. does it have to be big enough for 30 or 100 gallons??

also some suggestions for a return pump and anything else that im missing that i need besides rock. anything would help..thanks

you could make a sump with a plastic rubbermaid container if you wanted to! A 30 would work nicely... I like the dimensions of the 40g breeder as a sump since its only 36" long...

Its actually pretty easy! just get what ever tank you plan on using. Than you'll need a dew pieces of glass cut (from a local glass shop) and just silcone them in!
