If my PH is staying stable in, what looks like 8.6, and I use the superbuffer stuff will it lower it to the buffer capacity level? My alk is low it's about 7dKH.
I won't be buying tetra PH tests anymore. Too hard to tell the difference.
The superbuffer will maintain your ph levels and raise the alk. Add one teaspoon mixed in ro water for every 20 gallons. Test the alk and adjust until you get it right at about 4 meq/l or so. Test it every couple of days until you figure out what your tank is using......along with ca that is
I added one tsp last night mixed in fresh water then added to my fuge. I tested today and my alk went from 7 dKH to 9dKH. I'll add another tsp today. I tested my ca and it is 420ish. I got a hagan test kit because it was the right price. I tested my phosphates too and they were < 1.
