Swordtails and lemon tetras

Hi all,

Hope someone here can help. I am considering adding 2-3 swordtails to the tank described below. (Note that, in addition to what is described below, I'm going to add 2 more Lemon tetras and 1 more Julii).

I am paranoid about aggressiveness toward the lemons, because I just got done removing 4 Giant Danios who were a) very hyper and b) stressed out the lemons something awful.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions regarding the lemon tetra/swordtail combo? Note, too, that I've got two peaceful blue gouramis.

they should be fine, danios are crazy hyper and very territorial swordtails are very peaceful

Swords are super peaceful and a nice school fish. Get at least a few 2-4 with more females than males.

Thank you, Abercrombie and Dana. I'm curious -- why more females than males, Dana? Isn't it usually the opposite?

Ive always heared more females than males works best, but sword tales are peaceful so if you wanted all males you could probably do that.

Oh, ooops. You're right, Angelfish. I got it inverted in my head, which is apparently not working well tonight. So it is time to log off, apparently. Thanks for not calling me names because I deserved it.

Yeah, was thinking 1 male and 2 or 3 females.
