Swordtails

I just put both of my swordtails in a 10 gallon tank.  But the only problem is that I don't have a hood for it.  Should I be worried about them?  Are they known to be jumpers?

Thanks for the input.  I guess they are because my biggest one jumped out last night while I was asleep.  I found her lying under my guitar stand this morning.  There was no hope for her.  I covered the top of the aquarium with a couple books.  Hopefully that'll work for a couple weeks until I get paid again.
