syphoning

i got a syphon the hose is not long enough to fit to my window so i can just throw all the water out of the window the tank is about 3 feet inm the air and the window is like 4 feet in the air would the water be able to travel the extra foot with good speed so i can do it fast or it would not work (im buying a bigger hose if this is possible*

This sounds like a mess waiting to happen. I doubt you would be able to "shoot" the water that far. Maybe you could stick your thumb over part of the hole to increase the pressure, but no matter what, you're going to have quite a bit of water on the floor.

I think if its only a foot or so difference, as long as you get a good flow going, it SHOULD work pretty good. I have siphoned some Ummm stuff from some ummm things (when I was a dumb kid) for my car, and it wasent lower than the tank.

as long your above the window you should be able to do the suction atleast for me isn't strong enough.
