Tail fin

One of my lepord long finned danios doesn't have a tail fin. I mean, it has like a little stub. Is there a chance the fin will grow? I'm pretty sure this fish never had a large tail fin, that I may have bought him that way.

Sounds to me like someone was nibbling on him. One of my Lemon Tetras lost a lot of tail fin with the ick I had. (I think he was getting picked on) so I started treating the tank with Melifix and he looks fine now. It all grew back.

Do you know what happened to the tail fin that might help the others more.

Thnak you angelmom. It's possible that giant danios in the tank were nipping (I'v noticed they go after everything that resembles their flake food). I will try to see if I can find that treatment you mentioned.

I have 2 of those giant danios. They can be annoying to the other fish, quite often.
