Tank Brands

I'm looking at getting between a 55-75 gallon tank but i cant deside which brand i should go with. I was thinking all-glass cause they dont seem that expensive and popular. What are good brands? I saw these things in a store where the whole set-up comes in a box..pretty much everything except the stand...but i was kind of scared at going in that direction. The price was good but I didnt know about the quality...it was Marineland. Anyone know about it?

from what ive heard people say that have tried them, they all said they are great and long lasting. i dont know anything on getting big tanks like that so i cant give you any experience off of them.

i dont like the 55g foot prints very much, but i deffinitly reccomend 75's. It depends on what your putting in the tank and its up to you tho...Oceanic makes very nice tanks, then All Glass and than Perfecto?(in order)i dunno

i think that there was a thread on here somewhere about walmart tanks. and i remember people saying they're pretty good. and they also sell a 55gal with stand and everything (i think)

though i don't have any experience with the larger tanks...i got my 10gal from walmart...for $9...i think it is pretty good (had it for 3 years now without a problem). the brand is regent.

all glass aquariums is awsome they are made in franklin wisconsin and guess what i live in franklin wi.They owners of all glass live across the highway from me in this rich place they are my friends neihbor. they are two brothers who own it cool huh

Brand Name tanks

All-glass and Oceanic are the same company. It just that All-glass is bottom of the line and Oceanic is flagship tank. There is also Top Fin brand sold in chain stores like Petsmart.
There is only 2 types of tanks that I've have, they are All-glass and Perfecto.
IMO Perfecto is the best brand of tanks and the worst brand of light strip. All-glass has better light strip.
The new Perfecto tanks uses black silicone for the Euro tank look. The silicone is beaded neatly for no overlay like most tanks that use clear silicone. Any new Perfecto tanks 65 gal and over carry a Full 20 Year Warranty. Now you can't beat that.

Prices here in NYC for:
55 gal w/ metal stand $89.
65 gal w/ metal stand $169.
75 gal w/ metal stand $165.
90 gal w/ metal stand $215.

The best size tank IMO is the 75 gal 48"x18"x21"
The tank is deep and pleasing to the eye, your fish will thank you.
