Tank cleaners

I finished putting in my live sand and my LR will come tomorrow. When do I add my tank cleaners?

once your ammonia spike has gone down a little, let it cycle for a couple weeks, then add like 1 crab, if it doesnt die then add your clean up crew

get a testing kit and dont risk it...i personally would wait until nitrites hit zero before adding anything...

a better start would be a cheap $1 hermit just in case it dies, but you could keep an emerald crab in a 20

LOL, ya dude it will definitaly take some time, but when you do put a little crab in or sumthing go cheap because the tank was just set up and your water could still be a little crazy. I'm not to shure but I have even heard that you have to wait up to a few months before your or a salt water tank is ready 4 fish. And longer to be fully ready. what do you guys think?? I know mine took like 2 months before I could put anything in because my amonia. *PEACE!*

well mine got clean up crew added at about 6 weeks, then fish werent added until around 10 weeks, and it was only 1 small algae blenny, patience pays off in this hobby

i think my cleanup crew went in at 4 weeks and fish at 7...but i could be recolecting wrong

Bought 2 astreas earlier...like week 2 or 3 i think. They survived...but they didn't have much to eat
