OK I do my 10%- 15% water changes once a week and I use the hose thing that has a cylinder on one end that I stick in the water and then I create a suction and then I clean the gravel but I only get about half an inch of the gravel which I have about 1 inch of gravel total. My question is when I go all the way to the bottom I get a lot of little tiny particles now am I supposed to have nothing at all when I do the gravel cleanings or am I supposed to leave that bottom stuff because it is part of the bacteria in there? Basically am I doing damage cleaning every bit of crap out of the tank?
