Alot of people just starting out don't know that a tank has to cycle before it is ready for fish.. I am finding out the hard way. Constant water changes for me. There are alot of people on this forum that know their stuff! Ask lots of ?'s

At the pet store they NEVER tell you about cycling a tank. With my first non-betta tank they were like oh yeah just set it up add the conditioner and throw a couple hardy fish in there. Fortunitly Black Skirts are ny indestructable.

i have found that locally owned pet stores usually care more about their fish that they are selling and your success with your tank than the big chains.. imo
