tank infested with ick!

is there anything i should do other than using ick solution? (take fish out, test pH, etc.)

What's the temperature of the tank? If only one of your fish is infected then isolate him in a hospital tank.

all the ones that appeared infected have died
them being one leopard tail pregnant guppy and another female guppy
does the hospital tank need to have a filter

not positive on the exact temp. somewhere around 74
will a higher temp make the ick spread faster
the only other fish in my tank are 1 male and 1 female guppy
a large goldfish and two mystery snails
