tank mates for dwarf gourami

Just about any community fish can go well with a dwarf gourami. Check out the profiles at the top of this page and see which ones you like and then see if they are community fish. Just no bettas and I wouldn't advise mixing them with other gouramis. Also, only 1 male dwarf per tank.

Betta and Gourami's no problem

I’ve currently got 2 powder blue dwarf male gourami's and 2 blood red male gourami's in a 120 with a a few mollys, platys and my betta. Haven’t had any problems and there all getting along fine.

Yes, bpal, but you have a 120 gallon tank with plenty of room for the aggression to be spread out. She only has a 20 gallon tank. That is not enough room in my opinion to house more than one male gourami and certainly not a gourami and a betta. I like the idea of the school of rasboras. I do love a school of cardinal tetras though. I think they are absolutely beautiful!
