Here is our current tank setup:

48g: 12 Cardinal Tetras, 6 Glowlight Tetras, 5 African Lampeyes, 2 Platies, 1 Guppy, 4 Japonica Shrimp, 3 Cherry Shrimp, 2 Panda Corydoras, 1 Albino Bushy Pleco, and lots of plants.

16g: 5 Rummy Nose Tetras, 4 Hockey Sticks, 1 Mickey Mouse Platy, 3 Japonica Shrimp, 3 Cherry Shrimp, 1 3-striped Corydoras, 2 Otocynclus Corydoras, 1 Albino Bushy Pleco, and lots of plants.

6g: 10 5-week old baby platies and 1 Otocynclus Corydoras (plus plants).

2g: 11 baby platies (about 10 days old) and plants.

The larger babies are soon going to be ready to move into one of our larger 2 tanks. We would like to breed mkixed colors in the future as all are orange! We only had a single pair together and they have had 21 fry in the last 5 weeks or so!

I would like to add some more bottom feeders to our tanks. The Plecos we have are great. We'd like a couple more and / or more cories. Any suggestions as to which Plecos of Cories are best in our situation? Of course, we'll need to find good homes for all of our babies. 21 is a lot to add to our current setup.

Does anyone know about those Zebra Plecos? They look great but do they serve well in a community tank? Will they grow too big? Our Albino Plecos are only about 5cm right now. What cories are recommended as good additions to the tanks? Any suggestions about our tank setups? Thanks...

Any cories will get along, but they'll stick together better if they're the same type. They really need to be in groups of at least 3, and your 48g has room for probably 6 of them. Are otocynclus cories really a type of cory? Or do you mean oto catfish (algae eaters)?

Zebra plecos like meatier foods instead of algaes and veggies, unlike most plecos. They do fine in a community (not sure how well they do with other plecos), and they stay small (3.5" or so). They are really expensive though (figure at least $100). Plecos in general are territorial unless they are a pair, so your 16g won't have room for another pleco. Depending on the pleco, you might have room for another in the 48g, but you really need more cories in there first.
