TANK PRICE ???

does anyone know what a used 75 gal. with a decent looking stand would be worth. just for the tank and stand only.

I have a buddy that want's to sell me this tank and stand but when I asked him what he wanted for it he said he don't know so I told him 150$ and he agreed somewhat reluctantly.
Is this a fair price.remember this is just for the tank and stand there is no hood or lights or anything that comes with it.

well just take a look at a new 75 gallon tank and stand at your LFS or petcoo/petsmart and figure out how much you save by getting it used. all in all it comes down to what you were happy with paying. At my favorite LFS a 75 gallon tank would be 153 dollars and the stand normal pine one woyld be 180 dollars, so thats 333 dollars, and you paid 150 dollars depending on the condition i would say you made out big time

Hate to tell you BUT I got a 75 g with stand, hood,lights, pumps,2 hob filters, several heaters, gravel,rocks,plants AND fish for $250.00. There are ALWAYS good deals in the paper. People want to get rid of them quick.
IMO, I think you paid too much for just a used tank and stand.
