I am just starting setting up 2 75gal fish only tanks. The material I have read all has a wide range or temperatures to keep a saltwater tank. I see all the way from 76-84 degrees. Can anyone give me a good place to start at? Thanks- John

Well, it depends whether you are going to set-up a reef, a fish only, what kind of fish and so forth. 76-84 is alright for most fish and inverts.

good question?

"but a good rule of thumb (*@ FOR ME @*) is water should never be warm to touch."

That just gives me a spot to shoot for everytime. if i think its warm then ill add a little cool water to my bucket. ( during water changes )
