oh...have you tried posting at www.cichlid-forum.com they have more answers than i will...though i posted in your other topic with something
Never mind, have returned them to the lfs now! Brichardi wouldn't have them in the same tank, telmats not very good at defending themselves.
My guess after one week is that they're probably rockdwellers who were being opportunistic with a couple of spare shells in my tank. Eventually, they gave up on the shells, one hid under the tufa rock and the other at the top corner of the tank above the Eheim Aquaball filter!!
