I just recently found a 55 gallon salt water fish tank. Includes filter, heater, lights, stand, and 60+ pounds of live rock. Also includes yellow tang, 2 yellow tailed damsels, a sargent major and a large blue finned damsel. To me it looks like there is alot of brown algae everywhere, but right now it only costs $50 but there are still 4 days left to bid. He said i could buy it now for $200. What should i do, is brown algae bad for LR, like will it kill it? I would most likely get rid of the fish. Thoughts! PLZ HELP!

Personally I would say for even $200 your getting a good deal there. I don't know for sure about the algae, but if its not bad your getting a great deal there.

Yea, i have decided not to get it since i already have so too many tanks. Now im looking for my last tank. Im looking for something over 100 gal.

There is no such thing as to many tanks!!!!!

One day, I will have a 55 stocked with about 10 guppies, heavily planted...and just let them go at it! The fry can hide in the plants and the strong ones will survive!

When your a sophmore in highschool and your mom says you have to many tanks, then you have to many tanks. I have 2 big ones , 75 and 55 , 3 small ones and if i get a 100 plus gal tank then that will almost take up 3/4 of my room, lol.

Haha im a freshmen and i have 5 tanks in my room at my dads house. And he said if i can get enough money i can get a 100gal+ tank!*twirlysmi But i don't think ill get it cause my room is too small
