Telling Gender?

How can you tell the gender of honey sunset gouramis? I just got two last week for 1.99 each!

Usually male will have brighter color than female; and the dorsal in for male is more pointed.

And male can blow bubble nests!

i think most of the time pet stores only stock male gouramis...bc they tend to look the "prettiest". when i was trying to get a pair of pearl gouramis, i had to special order them.
you may need to wait till they get accustomed to your tank and "color up" before you can accurately sex them.

thanks.... I'm having no problems with them fighting at all, so I think that either the bubbles from the UG filter is making them feel intimdated, or it's because I have two females...
regardless of what gender they are, they are incredibly docile and pretty little fish!
