how much does it affect fish when you move the tank around after they have their "territory" established? i did a good cleaning job on my tank and re aranged the rocks, i seen this one fish keep trying to go to its spot, but that spot wasnt there anymore,, think this will cause any fighting to re establish their zones ?

It can affect them a lot. There might be a bit of fighting as they sort it out. Sometimes the only way you can get new fish into a tank is to move everythingaround to break up all the old territories, so all fish, including the new have a chance to establish a territory

If there are any fish that might be equal size or close, they will have to tangle again to reestablish territories.

If there's a true dominate in the tank and the others know it, it means nothing at all to change everything around whenever you want.

Like mentioned, whenever you add another fish you should always change everything around to give him a chance to establish a territory and learn where boundaries are while they all make them instead of learning the hard way.
